Where I am sitting right this very moment, the amazement of technology, tapping away stickily on my device and posting these pictures for you. I got someone to tap their shop's WiFi password into my phone, and now there is rare delicious connection.
I now have a deli here.
Breakfast this morning! Queso, a small slightly-sweet bread thing, and pineapple juice.
We are staying in Santa Veronica until tomorrow morning. This is the view just outside our hotel room door. It is viciously windy here from the ocean; the wind whistles through the building, sounding like a blizzard.

Staying in the tiny town of Galerazamba, we met these two blokes when we were asking for directions. We sat on the edge of the town foot ball field with them for some time in the evening; they generously bought us beers, and we chatted in Spanish about those basic things you talk about when you barely speak the language. We must have been quite the novelty because they insisted on photos. :)
